Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account details: email address, membership role, age, city and the profile content you write.

Verification data: government ID images, a live selfie and, optionally for Elite members, income documents. These are processed by our identity provider.

Activity: likes, matches, messages, gifts, credits and moderation reports.

Payments: subscription and purchase records, card brand and last four digits. Full card numbers are held by our payment processor and never by Elysian.

2. How we use it

To verify that every member is a real adult, to show you relevant members, to deliver messaging, gifts and memberships, to detect fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use your private album photos for advertising.

3. Visibility and discretion

Profiles are visible to signed-in, verified members only — never to the public web or search engines. Private albums are visible only to members you grant access to. Optional face blurring applies before any photo is shown to other members.

Video calls may be placed with a blurred background. Elysian does not record calls.

4. Advertising measurement

We use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand which of our ads lead to new memberships. This uses cookies and similar technologies that record that a sign-up happened after an ad click — never your profile content, messages or verification media.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec are asked for consent before this measurement runs, and can accept or reject it in the cookie banner and change their choice at any time via the Cookies control. Learn how Google handles this data at https://business.safety.google/privacy/.

5. Retention

Verification media is kept only as long as needed to complete the check and satisfy legal retention duties, then deleted. Messages and matches are kept while your account is open. Closing your account removes your profile from the directory and deletes your content, except records we must retain for tax, fraud or legal reasons.

Unverified accounts are deleted, including photos and messages, if ID verification is not completed within 30 days of our verification reminder — or within 14 days for accounts that never started the check.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent, and object to processing. Email privacy@elysian.app and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to staff who need it, and every administrative action on member accounts is logged.
